Description
White Low-Tack Adhesive Foam Board is a professional self-adhesive mounting board featuring a white extruded polystyrene foam core with bright white clay-coated paper facers, with one side covered in a repositionable low-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). Simply peel back the release liner to reveal the adhesive and mount photos, prints, posters, artwork, and graphics quickly and cleanly — with the added benefit of being able to reposition and adjust placement before committing to a final bond.
Available in 3/16" thickness in 32" × 40" sheets. The low-tack repositionable adhesive allows you to carefully lift and reposition your print or artwork if placement needs to be adjusted, making it ideal for proofing, design mockups, temporary displays, and any application where flexibility matters. The bright white clay-coated surface on the non-adhesive side delivers excellent printability and can also be written on, painted, or used as a display surface.
The preferred choice for graphic designers, photographers, and print professionals who need mounting flexibility without the commitment of a permanent bond. Perfect for client proofing presentations, temporary retail displays, design comps, and any application where the ability to reposition is more important than a permanent hold. When a final permanent mount is needed, our high-tack adhesive foam board delivers the lasting bond professionals rely on.

Low-Tack vs High-Tack — Which Do I Need?
- Low-Tack (this product): Repositionable adhesive allows adjustment and fine-tuning of placement before committing. Best for proofing, mockups, temporary displays, and applications where flexibility is needed
- High-Tack: Permanent pressure-activated bond — once pressure is applied it holds firmly. Best for final production mounting, trade show displays, and any application requiring a lasting permanent hold

Frequently Asked Questions
How does low-tack adhesive foam board work?
Low-tack adhesive foam board has a repositionable pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side protected by a release liner. Peel back the release liner to expose the adhesive, position your print or artwork, and apply light pressure. Unlike high-tack adhesive, the low-tack bond allows you to carefully lift and reposition your material if placement needs adjustment before applying final firm pressure.
Can I permanently mount with low-tack adhesive foam board?
Low-tack adhesive is designed to be repositionable rather than permanent, so it won't provide the same lasting hold as high-tack adhesive. For applications requiring a permanent, long-lasting mount such as trade show displays, retail signage, or finished presentations, we recommend our high-tack adhesive foam board which creates a permanent pressure-activated bond.
What's the difference between low-tack and high-tack adhesive foam board?
Low-tack adhesive is repositionable — you can lift and reposition your print or artwork after initial placement, making it ideal for proofing and temporary displays. High-tack adhesive creates a permanent bond once pressure is applied, making it the professional standard for final production mounting. Choose low-tack for flexibility, high-tack for permanence.
What types of projects is low-tack best suited for?
Low-tack adhesive foam board is ideal for client proofing presentations where artwork may need to be swapped out, design mockups and comps requiring layout adjustments, temporary retail and event displays, educational displays, and any project where the ability to reposition materials is more important than a permanent bond.
