White High-Tack Adhesive Foam Board is a professional self-adhesive mounting board featuring a white extruded polystyrene foam core with bright white clay-coated paper facers, with one side covered in a permanent high-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA). Simply peel back the red release liner to reveal the adhesive and mount photos, prints, posters, artwork, and graphics quickly and cleanly — no spray adhesives, dry mounting equipment, or messy glues required.
Available in 3/16" thickness in sizes from 20" × 30" up to 32" × 40". Can I reposition my print after applying it?
High-tack adhesive creates a permanent bond once pressure is applied, so repositioning is very limited. If you need the ability to reposition and adjust placement before committing, our low-tack adhesive foam board is the better choice. For final production mounting where a permanent hold is required, high-tack is the professional standard.
What's the difference between high-tack and heat-activated adhesive foam board?
High-tack PSA foam board uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive that activates with hand pressure — no equipment needed, just peel and stick. Heat-activated adhesive foam board requires a dry mount press or heat roller to activate the adhesive with heat and pressure. PSA is faster and requires no equipment, while heat-activated provides an extremely flat, bubble-free bond ideal for large format prints and professional framing.
What types of prints and materials can I mount?
High-tack adhesive foam board works excellently for mounting photos, inkjet and laser prints, posters, presentation layouts, design comps, artwork reproductions, and virtually any flat printed material. It's ideal for paper-based prints up to the size of the board. For very large format prints or delicate materials, heat-activated mounting may provide better results.
